Find Noble County Released Mugshots

A mugshot of a released Noble County inmate may remain in an agency record after it disappears from the current jail roster. Noble County released inmate mugshots are not offered through an official release gallery. The best source depends on which agency took the photograph and which custodian held the person. A county booking photo comes from the sheriff. A state correctional photo comes from Ohio corrections. Registry and official news images have narrower roles. Every image reflects a past arrest, booking, custody, registry, or publication event. It does not, by itself, prove guilt, present custody, final disposition, or a current legal status.

Noble County Mugshot Sources

The Noble County Sheriff's roster displays an image with each current entry. Once that entry is removed, the public page supplies no archive, released tab, or individual history link. The photograph may still exist in the sheriff's underlying booking record. A focused public-record request is therefore the strongest official route for a jail-only release. If the person entered state prison, ODRC may have a different correctional image. Neither image should be substituted for the other.

Other official sources have limited reach. Ohio eSORN may show a photograph for a person with a qualifying registration duty, but it is not a general inmate-photo system. An agency news release may preserve an older image, while a court docket usually explains disposition without displaying the county booking photo. Federal custody tools can confirm federal status or release but are not ordinary sources for a Noble County booking image.

Noble County Roster Photographs

The official Noble County Jail roster shows a name, booking date, offense, and image. It is a present-custody snapshot. It does not show release date, release reason, bond, booking number, destination, or a retained page after release. The sheriff also does not publish the page's update cadence or retention. A person's disappearance from the roster cannot establish when or why that person left.

The roster capture below documents the booking-image channel and its current-only setting. It must be read as a source-format example, not a gallery of people who were released.

The image on a roster entry belongs to an arrest-processing record. Charges listed beside it are allegations and may not match the disposition later entered by a Noble County court.

Important: A booking photograph does not prove guilt, present custody, or the outcome of the related Noble County case.

Request a Noble County Mugshot

After an entry leaves the roster, use the sheriff's public-records request form. It lists the Noble County Sheriff's Office at 420 Olive Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724; phone 740-732-5631; fax 740-732-1421; and kpresnell@noblesheriff.org. Request an existing booking photograph rather than asking the office to create a composite, restore an old web page, or make a conclusion about the person's case.

  1. Identify the person with a full name and approximate booking date. Add a birth date, case number, or booking number if known.
  2. Ask for the existing booking photograph associated with that booking, preferably in its ordinary electronic format.
  3. Request the booking sheet and release fields when identity or release context is also needed.
  4. Ask for a cost estimate before copies are made because the sheriff form gives no fixed fee schedule.
  5. If material is withheld, request the legal authority and every nonexempt part that can be separated and produced.

Ohio Revised Code 149.43 generally requires public records to be available for prompt inspection and copies within a reasonable period, subject to statutory exclusions. It does not guarantee that every photograph will be produced. A sealed case, juvenile restriction, protected victim data, confidential law-enforcement material, or a record the office no longer keeps can change the result. The sheriff's current roster visibility is not a statement about the retention of its underlying image.

Note: Ask for the photo linked to one booking date; a narrow description reduces the risk of confusing people with similar names.

Noble County ODRC Photographs

Noble Correctional Institution is an Ohio state prison located in the county. That creates a frequent source mix-up. A person held only at Noble County Jail belongs in sheriff records. A person admitted to Noble Correctional Institution or another Ohio prison belongs in the ODRC Offender Search. The ODRC detail may include a correctional photograph, ODRC number, admission data, status, offenses, sentence fields, and supervision information.

An ODRC image is not necessarily the person's Noble County booking photograph. It documents state correctional processing. Search by offender number when possible, or use the person's name and compare birth date, committing county, offense, and ODRC number. Status filters include Incarcerated, Released, APA Supervision, and Violators at Large. APA Supervision means the person has left prison under ODRC supervision; it does not mean final discharge. The county roster is irrelevant to a state-prison release merely because the institution is in Noble County.

Booking photograph
An image made during arrest or jail intake by the booking agency.
Correctional photograph
An image maintained by a prison agency, which may have been made after county booking.
APA Supervision
Physical release from Ohio prison with Adult Parole Authority control still in effect.
Discharge
The agency-defined end of a correctional or supervision relationship.

Other Noble County Photo Records

The Ohio eSORN registry may show a current photograph for a person with a qualifying duty under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 2950. Its coverage is limited to that legal class. A match can provide registry context, but it is not a general released-inmate photo archive. No result cannot establish that a person was never released, has no record, or has no other legal duty.

The Noble County Sheriff's official site may also carry dated news or press material with a photograph. Preserve the publication date and original caption. An old agency image can identify the event covered by that release, but it cannot establish present custody or the final outcome of the case. Court records remain the better source for bond, dismissal, conviction, sentencing, community control, judicial release, sealing, and later journal entries.

Third-party archives and news reports may surface a possible image or booking date. Use them only as discovery leads. Verify the person and event through the sheriff, court, ODRC, BOP, or registry, as applicable. No reputable official local archive of released-person photos was identified. Commercial mugshot publishers, data brokers, and pay-to-remove services receive no endorsement or link.

Noble County Sealed Photo Records

Court action can change public access to a photograph. Ohio Revised Code 2953.31 defines official records broadly enough to include fingerprints and photographs. When a Noble County court seals or expunges a qualifying record under the applicable law, ordinary public access can be restricted. A blank search result or removed image does not prove why the item is unavailable. Ask the clerk for the public status of the case and ask the sheriff to apply any relevant court order to its records.

Do not use an old cache to restore information that an official source no longer makes public. If a requested image is withheld, ask the agency for the applicable legal basis. Public and exempt material may sometimes be separated, with lawful redactions applied to protected portions. The correct result depends on the record and case, not merely on the fact that a person has left custody.

Record statePractical effect
Current public roster entryThe booking image is visible while the sheriff lists the person in custody.
Removed roster entryThe web image is gone; request the underlying agency record.
Lawfully sealed or expunged recordOrdinary public access may be restricted under the court order and Ohio law.
Partially exempt recordThe agency may redact protected material and release segregable public portions.

Ohio Mugshot Payment Ban

Ohio Revised Code 2927.22 addresses publishers that seek money from the subject of a booking photograph or related criminal-record information. It prohibits soliciting or accepting payment to remove, correct, modify, or refrain from publishing that material. The law does not automatically erase a government record. It also does not make every booking photograph confidential after release.

The official statute capture below is included because it defines the state restriction that applies to payment demands, not because it promises removal from any source.

Use the source's official correction channel for an error and the court process for sealing questions. Do not pay a service that promises to make a public record vanish.

Public-record limit: This site is not a consumer reporting agency, and mugshot information may not be used for any FCRA-regulated purpose.

Verify Noble County Mugshot Context

A photograph becomes useful only when tied to the correct person, booking, and custodian. Compare at least two identifiers where available, such as birth date, middle name, booking date, case number, ODRC number, or offense. Do not merge an Ohio result with a Noble County in Oklahoma or Indiana. Similar agency names and common personal names can produce a false match.

Record the date the source was checked. Agency pages can change as custody, court access, and publication status change.

Next, match the photo to the record that explains it. The sheriff booking sheet identifies the local booking. A Noble County court docket supplies the case history and disposition. ODRC covers state custody and supervision. BOP covers federal custody, but its locator is not normally a county booking-photo source. One static image cannot show a transfer, release date, current residence, supervision status, or final discharge.

For the custody path behind a named record, consult the Noble County released-inmate lookup. To understand the current roster's narrow role in recent changes, the Released Last 24 Hours process explains why removal must be confirmed through the jail, VINE, court, or an agency record.

Note: Preserve the source date and caption so a historical photograph is never presented as proof of current Noble County custody.
